UNICEF Dance
On October 27, we had a division event which was the October DCM & UNICEF Dance. In the DCM, Lieutenant Governor Lawrence Guittap stated his division updates. He stated his old business and showed us a clip of Fall Rally North. In his new business, he explained all the new events that will happen in November. Moving on to the UNICEF activity and dance, as a whole division we learned and completed some facts about UNICEF as our service project. We had to ask people in our division if they had the fact to complete our little piece of paper. Eventually we had to talk to every single person in our division to find the missing phrases. As that ended, we had dinner which was spaghetti and bread, yum! For the last two hours of the service, we got to dance to various songs like the Electric Slide, I Like it, etc… in our costumes!

Regional Training Conference
On September 1-2, 2018. RTC was held at Iolani High School. On September 1st we went to different types of strands. We all had 3 strands in total. Moreover, we did a quick service project inside the cafeteria. We were grouped by the numbers that we have in the back of our mae tags. We drew on cards, packed cookies, and drew on paper bags with our group members. Region 18 also did a cheer of competition, which made a lot of key clubbers laugh and smile. On the first day, although it was very tiring members and board members got to learn a lot of things from their strands. On the second day, we did a challenge. There were 2 leaders in each group and they were the people who told their members whatever challenges they have to do. In order to get the points we all had to work together and gather ideas to do the challenge right. The second day was the saddest day because it was the end of RTC yet it was really fun because we created memories with other people from region 18. Memories that we want to forever keep. A family that we all hope to retain.

Officer Training Conference with Komohana
On June 9, 2018, the OTC (Officer Training Conference) with Division 22 Komohana was held at Farrington on June 9. On this day, Key Club officers learned more about their jobs along with the members who were interested in a position on the board. They switch from OTC to Team Building Strands multiple times, where we got to meet a lot of new people from different schools and adopt new leadership skills. Also, we did a short service project. We were separated into groups and we had to make group posters about safety, in relevance to the June Spotlight on Service Initiative: Health and Safety. After that, we had DCM (Divisional Council Meeting). Our Lieutenant Governors went over the division goals, past and new business, and updates. After the OTC, a lot of the members said that the position they are interested in requires a lot of work and not an easy job to do.
